The Balinese method of traditional handweaving using backstrap loom and cotton yarns with supplementary weft weaving is done in large looms. Therefore none of the patterns will look symmetrical or identical.
This cloth is not suitable for machine wash. If you must wash it, a very gentle hand wash without prolonged soaking. It's best to wash by hand with cold water.
